Weekly Events at Official Tournament Stores Reward Creative Deck Builders

EL SEGUNDO, Calif. – (November 11, 2009) – Konami Digital Entertainment, Inc. (KDE) is bringing an opportunity to host weekly Yu-Gi-Oh! 5D's TRADING CARD GAME Pegasus Leagues to Official Tournament Stores. The Pegasus League, first unveiled in August at Gen Con Indy, is the perfect environment to showcase the effectiveness of a Duelist's creative deck-building skills.

KDE will regularly select a brand new format, offering new opportunities for Duelists in search of fun and unique challenges. Starting in November, the challenge is that all Decks must be constructed so that the Main Deck includes four EARTH, four FIRE, four WATER, and four WIND monsters. Each time the format is updated, the latest rules will be posted online on wwww.yugioh-card.com.

Duelists can meet each week and play a Swiss Round event using their Decks from the current League Format. Participants will earn points for playing, along with bonus points for winning. At the end of each month, the top four League competitors can win additional prizes. Official Tournament Stores only need a supply of Turbo Packs and a reliable judge to host a dedicated weekly Pegasus League tournament. There are no kits to order or keep refilled. EL SEGUNDO, Calif. – October 26, 2009 – The middle of the country will take center stage as Konami Digital Entertainment, Inc. (KDE) brings its largest and most prestigious Yu-Gi-Oh! TRADING CARD GAME (TCG) tournament series in North America, the Yu-Gi-Oh! TRADING CARD GAME SHONEN JUMP Championship, to the Buckeye state for its last stop in 2009. The top three finalists in the main event will receive the highly sought-after “Dark End Dragon”SHONEN JUMP Championship Prize Card.

KDE's SHONEN JUMP Championship in Columbus takes place November 14 – 15 at the Greater Columbus Convention Center. New Duelists will need to sign up for a KDE Player ID and COSSY number at the event. COSSY is KDE's own proprietary ranking system [Konami Card Game Official Tournament Support System], which is used at all official tournaments and SHONEN JUMP Championships. The registration fee is $20, and each player will receive five Ancient Prophecy booster packs just for participating.

SHONEN JUMP Championship Columbus details: The Greater Columbus Convention Center SHONEN JUMP Championship will start promptly at 8:00 a.m. for registration with Round One beginning at 10:00 a.m. The top 16 finalists for the SHONEN JUMP Championship, along with the top Duelists of the Sunday Regional Qualifiers, earn invites to participate in their respective countries' 2010 National Championships.

The SHONEN JUMP Championship in Columbus offers exciting Yu-Gi-Oh! TCG side events for both Saturday and Sunday which include Win-A-Mat tournaments for all ages, and Dragon Duel tournaments for Duelists aged 12 and under. There will also be 2010 Regional Qualifier tournaments on Sunday.
